Voting Opens for Global Gaming Awards London 20212 min read

The voting process for the Global Gaming Awards London 2021 is now underway, with 50 industry CEOs choosing the winners and KPMG monitoring the entire process.

The Global Gaming Awards are the most recognised, reputable, and prestigious Awards in the gaming industry, not only because every shortlisted company is nominated for a specific reason, but also because of the fair and rigorous voting process, which ensures winners are truly deserving of their Awards.

“The combination of a thorough selection process, a highly distinguished panel of judges and the organizers’ commitment to independent verification of the judges’ decisions means any company or individual that makes it to the final Shortlist should be extremely proud,” said Micky Swindale, CEO of KPMG Islands Group.

This year’s stellar Judging Panel includes top industry executives such as Renato Ascoli, CEO Global Gaming, IGT; Itai Pazner, CEO, 888 Holdings; Jesper Svensson, CEO, Betsson Group; Carsten Koerl, Group CEO, Sportradar; Gustaf Hagman, CEO, LeoVegas Group; Per Jaldung, CEO, European Casino Association and many more.

Gambling Insider COO, Julian Perry, commented: “We would like to thank each member of the Judging Panel for their time and valuable contribution. It is the participation of all these executives that makes our Awards such a terrific event that companies are proud, happy and often surprised to win.”

The 50 Judges will choose between nominees in 14 separate categories, deciding on first and second place for each Award. Should there be a tie for the winning position in any category, the nominee with the most second-place votes will be victorious.

Votes can now be made by the Judging Panel, after the Shortlist was finalised, following a period of self-nominations and analysis from the Gambling Insider editorial team, as well as the Awards’ esteemed Nomination Panel.

The Global Gaming Awards London are powered by Gambling Insider. BetConstruct is the event’s Lead Partner and the voting process is independently adjudicated by KPMG in the Crown Dependencies, to ensure full transparency and fairness. This year, the event will be held virtually on 28 June.
