Terra Haute Set To Welcome A New Casino In November

The Terra Haute state commission is set to review applications for a bid to open a new casino at the state. The Indiana Gaming Commission has also reviewed and accepted the scrutiny of the submitted applications. The wait of Gamblers in Haute has finally been ended as the casino building will start soon as the tender is awarded.

Those companies want to revive the Terre Haute project that stands amid an investigation into allegations of criminal misconduct and the fines imposed on the owners of senior management groups who applied for the first license in 2019.

 

 

Gaming Commission chief executive Greg Small told commission board members last week that he was happy with the competition and that licensing recommendations would be made at their November 17 meeting.

Applicants include Hard Rock International, which had an agreement to use $ 125 million casinos in Terre Haute before the state commission voted in June to oppose the renewal of the casino license because the new ownership did not hire a top team or get a full salary after more than a year.

The proposal submitted by Full House Resorts, owner of an Indiana casino in downtown Ohio River in Rising Sun, includes a 100-room hotel with a warm bedroom and restaurant on Interstate 70. A casino program from Churchill Downs Inc. you will build a 125 – hotel with rooftop living rooms.
