Penn National to hire about 375 people at new $111M casino along Pa. Turnpike

Penn National Gaming will open the nearest casino at its headquarters in the study area for the rest of the year.

Hollywood Casino Morgantown will open on the exit of Morgantown, off 298 near Pennsylvania Turnpike in Caernarvon Township, Berks County.

The $ 111 million casino which is an 80,000-square-foot massive casino will consist of approximately 750 slot machines and 30 table games, a big Barstool, various sports and race books, along with food and beverage options.

Penn National owns casinos everywhere but this will be its first casino in its region. The casino is considered a small casino, called the Casino 4 casino. Smaller casinos were officially registered in Pennsylvania in 2017.

And a sign that plans are underway for a new casino is that Penn National Gaming announced on Thursday that it has opened a service center at Holiday Inn Morgantown at 6170 Morgantown Road in Caernarvon township near Morgantown.

The work center at the Holiday Inn Morgantown will be open from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday to Friday hours are expected to increase soon. Complete and temporary opportunities are available. Positions will also be found in the operation of casinos, food and beverage, security and safety, human resources, marketing, and other areas. The casino offers sign-up bonuses of up to $ 1,500.

Penn National also plans to host rental events at Table Games Dealer School in the workplace. Events are scheduled from 9 a.m. to noon, Friday; 6 pm to 8 pm. Monday; and 9 a.m. to noon on Wednesday. Table Games Dealer School is going to start very soon it will be free for everyone. Hollywood Casino Morgantown expects to hire an estimated 375 people for this new mini-casino.

Penn National Gaming also has a huge Hollywood Casino at the Penn National Race Course in the coordinates of East Hanover Township and a new state-owned popular casino named the Hollywood Casino York at York Galleria Mall in Springettsbury Township that opened on August 12 last year. The casino has 510 gaming machines and 24 gaming tables. (with expansion), a 125-seat restaurant, bars, 125 televisions, the state’s first Barstool Sportsbook, a large video wall, free technology, and a smoking component making up more than 15 percent of the casino. That casino employs about 290 people.
