Karnataka Government Passes Online Gambling Bill; Industry Worried

In an effort to end gambling and online gambling, the meeting passed a bill on Tuesday amid complaints raised by industry stakeholders. Home Affairs Minister Araga Jnanenra, who hosted the Karnataka assembly.

Skill games that pose a risk of players losing money can also invite action.

Pravin K said congratulations to the law. The government should set up a committee with industry stakeholders and come up with a law banning online betting instead of a bill that would not stand the test of law.

The Minister of Home Affairs Mr. Janendra said that although the police have booked cases and arrested people involved in such activities, these used to get bail easily and start over. The new bill will address these shortcomings and make the case known. The bill also provides for higher penalties and penalties.
